Martin has had a hand in writing songs for virtually every major pop act of the last 10 years, including The Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Pink, Ke$ha, Celine Dion, and more than half of Katy Perry’s singles.

The video for Since U Been Gone is a sort of revenge fantasy in which Clarkson finds a release for her anger at an ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend by destroying their apartment. While the actions she undertakes aren’t necessarily advisable, they sure look fun.
