Each week our friends at The Guest List sit down with a hot Hollywood celeb and share their interview with you.  This week they sat down with comedy legend Russell Brand.

Recently married to the “I Kissed A Girl” hitmaker [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm], Russell Brand is about to get his smooch on in the re-make of the classic comedy-romantic, Arthur. We think they couldn’t have picked a better actor to play Dudley Moore’s former role  role as the drunk, billionaire playboy who may lose his inheritance because he’s fallen for wrong woman.

“They told me that they have considered a remake but it was contingent on finding the right person for the lead,” says Russell. He also went on to say they picked him for the role because of his “great hair.” Oh Russell! Find out more on why it was so

One thing is for certain, Russell Brand is a funny man! Courtesy of Warner Bros., check out a hilarious interview with the British comedian. Not only does he convince us that he’s perfect for the role, he tells us that it was a rather “kinky” experience working with Helen Mirren who plays Arthur’s lifelong nanny.

Directed by the first-time feature director Jason Winer, whose TV credits include 13 episodes of ABC’s Modern Family, Arthur also stars Jennifer Garner, Nick Nolte, Geraldine James, Luis Guzman and Christian Calph. In theaters on April 8th, 2011.

If you are not familiar with the original Arthur, it was released in 1981 and starred Dudley Moore as the titular character, Liza Minnelli as Arthur’s true-love Linda, and John Gielgud who played Moore’s butler, and surrogate parent, Hobson.
