[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Stevie Nicks[/lastfm] is back in fantastical form with her new video for Secret Love, the first single from her upcoming solo CD In Your DreamsIn Your Dreams will be released on May 3rd.

The video contains classic Stevie imagery including a white horse, black top hat, and plenty of flowing garments.  It also includes her goddaughter Kelly, wearing a classic dress that Nicks herself wore on stage in 1976, and portraying a younger Nicks.

The song, originally written by Nicks in the 70’s, came shortly after her breakup with fellow [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Fleetwood Mac[/lastfm] member Lindsay Buckingham.  Nicks told Spinner:

I have really tried to remember who it was about but at the end of 1975, the world was spinning around us so fast, and we were meeting people every other day. There were gorgeous men and gorgeous women everywhere. We were fast and beautiful and crazy.

It must have been secret because I wrote it, recorded it and put it in a box. The words are kind of odd.

Nicks also recruited [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Dave Stewart[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Eurythmics[/lastfm] for the video, along with fellow Fleetwood Mac-ers [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mick Fleetwood[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]John McVie[/lastfm].
