New Blondie Album Coming Your Way Soon
Blondie will release their first album since 2003’s The Curse of Blondie. A release date has not been set, but it will be out sometime in September.
Panic of Girls will be the ninth studio album from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blondie[/lastfm], and the first in eight years. The album was recorded between October-December of 2009 in Woodstock, New York, and was finished up in May of 2010 in Hoboken, New Jersey. The band had originally planned for a 2010 release date, but had issues with record companies and will release the album themselves.
The album will be a part of a special “Collector’s Pack,” which will include the album, as well as a special 132-page magazine charting the making of the album, the band’s history, and many archive photographs.
Blondie released a video for “Mother,” the first single off Panic of Girls, on May 17th.
