This just in…Bono has revealed himself to actually be a cyborg from the future! No, not really, but his recent surgery has made him stronger and ready to rock with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]U2[/lastfm] for their massive Glastonbury festival concert this Friday night.

U2 had originally agreed to play Glastonbury in 2010, but Bono had to undergo surgery on his spine in Munich, Germany that summer, forcing the band to cancel the show.

One year later, fans have already started arriving to the festival and Bono says he and U2 are more ready than ever.

Bono described himself as “Robo-Bono,” referencing his surgery and the tattoo he got to remember it.

“Were I to pull down my pants I have ‘Made in Germany’ stamped on my ass,” he told BBC Radio 1. “So ‘Bono 2.0.’ Through the wonders of science, I’m not just fixed, I’m better.”

Do you think he’s really going to be better? Or is that just the adrenaline talking? Either way, we will find out just how Bono and U2 perform when Glastonbury videos begin surfacing online.
