[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Coldplay[/lastfm] continue to gradually release new material in advance of their new album, this time a new song called “Major Minus.”
The new song has the same general feel as “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,” which the band released earlier this month. It has a definite party feel to it and has really nice production touches from Brian Eno and, as always, Chris Martin’s unmistakable voice tying it all together.
The guys are currently overseas in the U.K. getting ready to headline the Glastonbury Festival for the first time since 2005, and perhaps play “Major Minus” live for the fans.
The concert will stream online and air on VH1 as part of a first-of-its-kind production for BBC Radio.
The new song is set to be released alongside “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” and another new track as part of a three-song EP, which can be pre-ordered on iTunes. Listen to “Major Minus” in the video below:
