This summer’s Lollapalooza headliners played on their home turf at the Glastonbury Music Festival in Pilton, England opening their set with a new song, “Hurts Like Heaven”, and didn’t get great reception from the crowd, but the band quickly won back their respect by following with a stream of hits: “Yellow”, “In My Place”, “Lost!” and “The Scientist”, while tracks from their upcoming fifth release were dropped in at random.

[lastfm]Coldplay[/lastfm] accomplished entertaining the audience with their usual light show, and the general consensus of their new material was about 50/50 with approval and disappointment. Although the end of the show was deemed forgettable, capped with their newest single “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” , they tried to bring it back up at the encore with the crowd sing-along “Viva la Vida” and their megahit “Clocks” to round out the finale.
