The great [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] has been all up in your television recently. She was a guest judge (and guest crier) this week on “So You Think You Can Dance,” and performed a song on the show. Then Gaga mozied on over to the Jimmy Kimmel show, where she hasn’t appeared for three years.
During her gig as a SYTYCD guest judge, Gaga blubbered after watching a particularly moving contemporary dance performance. Marko Germar inspired the diva to tears, saying, “There are so, so many things I did wrong when I was younger, and so many things I wish I could take back, and I felt every moment of that through your dance tonight.”
Awwww! Watch Gaga go boo-hoo:
(Editor’s Note: In case you were wondering, that song was “I Know It’s Over” by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Smiths[/lastfm] performed by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jeff Buckley[/lastfm]. Reckognize!)
As for the Jimmy Kimmel appearance, the Hollywood Reporter announced that the whole block behind Kimmel’s studio had been closed, and Gaga was to perform in the cordoned-off area.
She’s not entirelyyyy special: [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Coldplay[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Depeche Mode[/lastfm] have also gotten streets shut down for their performances. Gaga performed “You and I,” her latest single.
Too bad she isn’t performing for Carson Daly. She loves that guy.
