[photogallerylink id=31621 align=left]Coldplay and Norah Jones were among those who took part in a Steve Jobs memorial for Apple employees. The private event was held last week and is now available for streaming on Apple’s website.

Thousands showed up at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California for the memorial service for the company’s co-founder. Jones took the stage with her piano early during the 80-minute ceremony, and noting that Jobs was a Bob Dylan fan, Jones performed Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ among some of her top hits.

Coldplay appeared a half hour later, with frontman Chris Martin telling the crowd, “We played this song for Steve 10 years ago and he said it was sh-. He said we’d never make it.” The guys then launched into their first big hit, ‘Yellow.’ The group performed the song from that commercial, ‘Viva La Vida,’ followed by the ballad ‘Fix You’ and the recent single ‘Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall.’

The Apple ceremony also included speeches from current company employees and from former Vice President Al Gore.
