Poison front man, Bret Michaels, recently spoke to our friends at MIX 96-5/Houston about his new solo album, Celebrity Apprentice, being a rockstar dad, tour with Poison, and yes — his Pets Rock accessories line!
“As much as I love my rock and roll, I also grew up loving country music,” Michaels said to Mix 96-5/Houston, explaining the eclectic nature of his upcoming album, “Get Your Rock On.”
“I got everyone from Jimmy Buffet and me doing Margaritaville together, to the Lynyrd Skynyrd guys.” He says they recorded a remade version of “Sweet Home Alabama” with a hip hop break down in the middle of it. More special guests on the new album include members of Def Leppard, Van Halen, KISS and Bowling for Soup.
The album drops on June 12 and you can catch Bret this summer touring with Poison and Def Leppard.
