Over the weekend, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary in the city of love, and renewed their vows on the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

This morning Perez Hilton told B96/Chicago, “Mariah and Nick were in Paris these past few days, where they decided to renew their wedding vows, which is very sweet. Of course they invited the paparazzi to document it all.”

This special occasion comes after a year full of ups and downs for the couple. Their babies were born on April 30, 2011, which makes Moroccan and Monroe one year old today.

Before their celebration, Nick and Mariah went shopping for birthday gifts for their twins.

MC and Nick invited the press to join them at an official photo call in honor of their vows renewal ceremony on Friday at Maison Blanche. Their publicist said they celebrated with an “intimate ceremony after a romantic dinner at the beautiful Jules Verne restaurant.”

Mariah and Nick got married in the Bahamas in 2008 after they started dating a few months earlier.
