TV icon Andy Griffith has died. He was taken to a hospital in North Carolina this morning, where he died at age 86.

I grew up watching reruns of ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ and I think it is the BEST sitcom of all time.

This scene from the episode “Opie the Birdman” is easily one of the best moments of Classic  American TV.
