Superstitious About The Cardinals? You’re Not Alone
The Cardinals will try to close out their series with the Washington Nationals later today—first pitch is at 3:07 on TBS (none of that MLB Network nonsense today)
I don’t know about you, but I am extremely superstitious about these games—and it causes me to do some strange things. For example, I have my rally chair which I’m convinced was the sole reason the Cards made that great comeback in Game 6 of the World Series last year. I won’t budge from that thing during a playoff game if I feel the team needs a jolt of luck.
If you’ve been listening to the show over the past week, you’ve heard about my six-year-old son—who developed “Jimmy The Greek” like predictive abilities over the course of last year’s playoff run (and who’s a perfect 2 for 2 on the air so far this series.)
So while you’re watching these games, feel free to indulge those superstitions….say YES to your inner voice…..sit in as many lucky chairs as you like!
Oh…and BTW—Sam’s pick for game 4?
