I’ve been saying this since it has started, The Voice is now the best singing reality show on TV. Why? Because every singer that takes the stage is GOOD if not great. They don’t rely on goofy gimmicks of bad auditions and the judges kind of take a back seat to the talent. Yes, they are all superstars but the show doesn’t rely on the judges to make the show…in my opinion. I like the banter back and forth between Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. And the addition of Usher and Shakira has done nothing to shake the successful formula of the show…in my opinion. But there’s a great article that further and better explains why I think the Voice is successful. Click here.

If you know anything about me you know I love TV. I love reality TV. I’ll watch pretty much anything except……I’m not sure about this one. Ryan Lochte, the Olympic swimmer, has a reality show coming out. Jeah! Oh Lord, did I just say that? This looks like the dumbest show ever. It’s called “What Would Ryan Lochte Do.” If anyone says “Jeah” in my presence I will smack them. Feel free to do the same to me. The show premieres April 21st at 9p on E!. Here’s a sneak peek of the show:

And continuing with the theme of really, really dumb reality shows…how would you like to work with Flava Flav??? flava flav2 Trishs Trash: The Best and Worst of Reality TV There’s an open casting call for a pilot of…something at his recently opened Sterling Heights, Michigan restaurant Flav’s Chicken & Ribs. They’re looking for “excited, funny, outgoing characters to fill the roles of customers here at the restaurant,” but it’s not exactly clear what the concept is or what the customers would have to do beyond, you know, eat. Here’s the link to his Facebook page where you get more info on where to be if you’d like to audtion. Click here. Ha ha ha ha
