Sara Bareilles is coming to a small screen near you and she’s bringing puppets.

The singer will guest star on the April 11 puppet-themed episode of Community, according to TVLine.com.Though the show is keeping Bareilles’ role under wraps, it has been confirmed that she will not be playing herself.

According to E!, the episode not only features the Greendale gang in puppet form, but features original music. One of the songs was even written by Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach Adam Levine. Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander also makes a cameo in the episode as a friendly mountain man. We can only hope Sara gets a chance to duet with George Constanza.

Though this is Bareilles’ first time appearing on the show, her song “Gravity” off her 2007 album, Little Voice, was the theme for a memorable fan video dedicated to will-they-won’t-they couple of Jeff (Joel McHale) and Annie (Alison Brie). The video later served as inspiration for a season 2 episode of the show in which Sara’s song also appears.

Bareilles is gearing up to put out the follow-up to her 2010 album, Kaleidoscope Heart, and is releasing the upcoming record’s first single “Brave” on April 23.

Community airs every Thursday at 8 pm EST on NBC.
