Final Sections Of Spire Raised To Top Of One World Trade Center

At long last the new World Trade Center Tower has its permanent spire.  The spire was installed today and now the New World Trade Center Tower is the tallest in the Western Hemisphere. 

One World Trade  Center will have an observation deck and is scheduled to open in 2014. 

The new spire on top of the Freedom Tower weighs 758 tons and will be used as a world class broadcast antenna.

So the World Trade Center is back, we will never forget, we will continue the be the World’s greatest nation. 

With the spire’s length of 408 feet, that brings the new World Trade Center’s height to 1776 feet.  1776.  Take that terrorists!!
