AOL’s 100 Worst Songs….EVER!

AOL has put together a their list of the 100 worst songs of all time, and with rare exception, I think it’s a fairly comprehensive collection of  fantastically awful music.

Sure, one can always quibble over a song here and there–I will claim a soft spot for “Escape (The Pina Colada Song)”  from Rupert Holmes,  but all in all,  I think they’ve done a decent job here.

The top (or worst) 5 are:

#5: “Barbie Girl”  Aqua

#4: “she Bangs”  Ricky Martin

#3: “Ice Ice Baby” Vanilla Ice

#2: “Who Let The Dogs Out”   Baha Men

#1: “(It’s Time To) Beat Dat Beat” DJ Pauly D

I would however put Don Johnson’s “Heartbeat” a little higher on the list than #90.

Matter of fact,  I’m going to start work on compiling the 100 worst music videos of all time.

This has to be a candidate for #1:
