Katy Perry was one of the many stars who took the stage for Comedy Central’s autism benefit, “Night of Too Many Stars”, which will air on Sunday, October 21st.

This is one of the reasons why people seem to genuinely like her.  Yes, even though she is a pop superstar in every sense of the phrase, she has always seemed like someone who cares about her fans–and not in that fake, I care but not enough to actually show it sort of way.

Actually, if Miley Cyrus really wants to know what it takes to become a star, she should put down the teddy bear, put some clothes on and take a look at this.

Check out this performance from the show as she joins Jodi DiPiazza, a young autistic girl on stage to duet the song, “Firework”.

The duet starts at 3:10 but you really should watch the entire story about how music helped Jodi become more comfortable in social settings.

Well done Katy!
