Well this is a surprise.

Generally when we see “blooper reels” in film, they’re from comedies or action flicks.

There is something interesting and a little creepy about this though.

In 1991 “The Silence of the Lambs” starring Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster was released and instantly became a classic.

It also kept a lot of film-goers awake at night.

The film took home the Academy Award for Best Picture, as well as Best Actress for Foster, Best Actor for Hopkins, Best Director for Jonathan Demme, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

It’s the last film you’d ever expect to see a blooper reel from.

In the clip below, actors are seen breaking character and generally having the time of their lives during the filming of one of the creepiest films of all-time.

Enjoy…perhaps with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

(CAUTION)–This clip is rated R for language.
