Tulip is a 2-year-old Flemish Giant which is a breed of rabbit known for being, well, gigantic! Tulip is 10lbs., soft, cuddly, friendly and absolutely adorable! She’s a very gentle, easy-going rabbit, and she loves to lounge with feet out. She enjoys daily snacks of fresh greens and other veggies. She needs to stay strictly indoors with access to plenty of fresh water and timothy hay, and, much like other pets, she requires regular checkups and vaccinations. Rabbits make wonderful, sociable companions, especially for young children, and it’s easy to love and care for sweet Tulip.

Tulip’s ID number is A561636!

To adopt: Apply in person at the Humane Society of Missouri’s Macklind Avenue Headquarters in St. Louis City. Hours and directions at www.hsmo.org.

Last week’s featured pet, a cat named Layla, is still available for adoption at the Humane Society of Missouri’s Chesterfield Valley Center at Boone’s Crossing.
