Trish’s Trash: New Movies and a Prank to Get You There
After yesterday’s Oscar nominations, people will be trying to catch up on the movies that were nominated. But there’s also four new movies in theaters today.
Devil’s Due: Rated R. OMG this looks scary. It’s in the demon baby category. Zach Gilford plays the father and it’s his wife who gives birth to the demonchild. The best part of this movie is the video they did to promote the movie. They set up a “devil baby” in a stroller and scared people walking down the street. Here it is in case you missed it….LOL!!!!
And here’s a look at the movie:
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit: Following in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck, Chris Pine is the new Jack Ryan. In the fifth of the films based on Tom Clancy’s novels, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit follows Ryan as a young CIA analyst who is promoted to a spy and sent to Russia to investigate after he uncovers evidence of an imminent terrorist attack. Co-starring Kevin Costner as Ryan’s CIA handler and Keira Knightley as his fiancée. Rated PG-13.
Ride Along: Comedian Kevin Hart stars in Ride Along as Ben, a high-school security guard desperate to win the blessing of his fiancée’s (Tika Sumpter) brother James, a intimidating police detective (Ice Cube). James invites Ben on a ride along on a night that finds them chasing after the most notorious criminal in Atlanta. Co-starring Laurence Fishburne and John Leguizamo. PG-13.
The Nut Job: The animated comedy The Nut Job stars Will Arnett as the voice of Surly, a mischievous squirrel who’s banished from his park home by Raccoon (Liam Neeson) after he botches a hot dog stand heist. Surly enlists his new rat friend Buddy (Robert Tinkler) to plan a nut store heist that could win him a place back in the park. Rated PG
