“Better Call Saul,” Vince Gilligan’s prequel to “Breaking Bad” is starting to take form.  Billboards that have been built to be used as props for the show are starting to pop up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The billboards are advertisements for Saul’s law firm before he changed his name to Saul Goodman.  If you remember a conversation between Saul and Walter White during “Breaking Bad,”  he tells Walter that his real name is James McGill and he changed his name to Saul Goodman.

Which leads us to believe that we will find out the real story about the name change when the series runs on AMC sometime next year.

As a sidebar, Mike Ehrmantraut, the character played by the great Jonathon Banks, will have a prominent part in the show.  I for one am hoping we see the inspiration for his “No Half Measures” monologue.
