Get On Up- Based on the incredible life story of the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Chadwick Boseman stars as James but the music is done with Brown’s real voice. Nelsan Ellis plays his best friend and Dan Ackroyd is his agent. Mick Jagger helped produce the movie. Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer also star. Rated PG-13

Guardians of the Galaxy-A Marvel superhero movie about an adventurer, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), that finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan (Lee Pace), a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Bradley Cooper lends his voice and Vin Diesel is a walking plant. Rated PG-13.
