Celebrating The Beatles on Ed Sullivan 50 Years Later, With a Little Help From Reunited Eurythmics, Perry, Grohl & Wonder
The Eurythmics also reunited; Stevie Wonder, Joe Walsh, Dave Grohl were among other performers.
For one night only, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart will share the stage in honor of The Beatles first performance on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show.’
The ‘Spider-Man 2′ score is the latest interesting collaboration he’s worked on over the years; he’s also worked with Mick Jagger—both on Jagger’s records and in their supergroup SuperHeavy— Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty and of course Annie Lennox in their multi-platinum duo the Eurythmics.
Stewart recently told England’s Telegraph that a reunion is never out of the question, but it’s not in the works at the moment. “Never say never. Annie and I wrote so many songs together, and they keep popping up in different places, and I have this idea of putting them all together in a theatrical piece in the not too distant future.”
From old report cards to gold records, Annie Lennox has been careful to save and preserve the treasured items of her past. Now these prized possessions are on display in a new museum exhibit.
With a little help from his friend Dave Stewart (formerly of the Eurythmics), Ringo Starr is developing a movie musical for Paramount, reports entertainment industry website Deadline.com.
