“We all went out one night and they had actual moonshine on the menu. We drank it all night, then headed to the studio and I started screaming, ‘Moonshine, take us to the stars!’”
The song features a mixture of synth sounds, pulsating drum beats and the 27-year-old Hawaiian’s astounding vocals.

“Everyone knows that I’m tall, so probably some kind of stilts or like some kind of lifts in your shoes,” Mars joked.
“Music is supposed to be free, it’s supposed to be fun, especially for me. I want to have fun doing my job,” he said.
Bucking the trends, the singer unleashed the video without any fancy premiere or behind the scenes footage. Mars is only interested in doing things his way this time around.
