Jason Mraz will be bringing his “Yes!” World Tour to St. Louis on October 16th at the Peabody Opera House!
Jason Mraz has been releasing radio hits for the past 12 years, but the very first time he heard his debut single “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)” on the radio he felt out of place. On the other side of the world in Australia, Mraz was also driving on the other side of the road in a station wagon when he heard his song for what he calls a “surreal experience.”
For his fifth studio album, Jason Mraz teamed up with his friends in the all-female folk group, Raining Jane, and decided to go acoustic. It’s these women, who Mraz says encouraged him to try a little tenderness on his new album, dubbed YES! and out July 15.
“We talked about collaborating, he emailed me a song he was in the process of working on, I lent my two cents, all by email. Then a couple of months later, we found ourselves appearing on each other’s stages.”
While “Rough Water” doesn’t quite embody the anthemic feel of “Billionaire,” it does have some “oh-oh-oh’s” and a few zeitgeist-y lines for the kids.
Jason Mraz’s new fan-assisted video attempts to answer the question, “What does ‘The Woman I Love’ mean to you?”
Only two weeks into the new year and Christina Perri is already holed away in the studio working on her next album.
Jason Mraz isn’t just playing music in Myanmar next month, he’s making history.
